Phoenix expands research capabilities
Hollywood, Fla. May 6, 2008 Phoenix Biosciences, Inc. is pleased to announce that Margie Eyerman Roach PhD has joined the Company. Dr. Roach will be working directly with Dr. Keller to further the in vitro studies requested by the United States FDA in connection with gaining approval to perform Phase II studies in the United States utilizing PBS119 and to perform the in vitro studies required in connection with the expansion of the PBS platform into Neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Roach obtained her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from one of the leading institutions in the United States, the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
“After several months of searching I am delighted to recruit Dr. Roach to join our research team. It is my belief that the PBS platform will prove to be applicable to many neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease”, said Robert H. Keller, M.D., Chairman and CEO of the Company.
